idk i think they are really ugly..and played out as you said EVERYONE has them…

  2. Sarah Says:

I don’t know they are way overpriced and I don’t find hardly any of them attractive or functional. Its a fashion world craze, you know what’s IN now. It changes every 10 minutes.

I would like to know how they can afford them?? I would love to have one of those…nice looking bags and they last, made good

Coach offers a wonderful handbag and if taken care of, will last a lifetime! Not to mention style and fashion HISTORY!

Coach is a classic brand. I have a couple of the older leather ones with the brass hardware. I think those new ones with all the Cs and colors all over the place looks cheap.

  6. Hannah Says:

Because they are expensive, pretty, and have a big name on them (COACH!)
They are easy to show off as well.

  7. Bren Says:

Coach purses are very popular because they are cool !!
You are right ..everyone is carring one these days..
    they are expensive too !!
another pop one in teens now is Dooney and Burke

It is definitely not all of a sudden. Coach is a big name because they use high quality leather and are very durable. They used to make very classy purses and briefcases but since they are obviously targeting teenagers they are now covered in vulgar patterns with terrible color palettes. If you know someone in the military who is stationed in Korea, they can get Coach products very cheap direct from the factory and ship them to you.

All designer handbags are stylish right now. Many people just don’t know what the really expensive ones look like. Chloe, Fendi, Louis, etc. So Coach is actually the most economical for a designer bag. You can get a small bag for under $200. I think that makes it appealing to people who cannot afford the $1600 bag but, want to be with the styles. Their are plenty other great bags within that price rage that are beautiful leather bags. Unfortunately, not everyone knows what they look like so they don’t want to buy them.

i recently got one for xmas and it cost like 3 hundred but i felt bad that they spent so much on it …….. i would have rather prefered to have bought it myself…. my reason for liking coach is bc its a good brand and its the only professional looking purse i have

  11. ♡ J ♡ Says:

I guess i’m not everybody cause I don’t have one. I see no point. They are over priced. I could by 10 plus bags at Target for the price of one couch bag and haven’t seen one that was appealing to me. Sorry, I would rather take my money and spend it on food

i have been a coach owner for over 15 years. i love them because they will fix them for free for as long as you own them. they are very durable and timeless bags. I still use my original purse that I have had since 1990. repaired it twice.

i think a lot of the reason why people are seeing them more now is that they have discovered the Coach Outlet stores. we have one here in napa and I have bought bags there at 60 - 70% off retail price. Usually foronly 100 - 150 dollars. what a bargain.

coach is a well-established company that targets young people mostly. i think the logoed handbags are extremely tacky, but the average person usually associates carrying a coach bag with being wealthy. but coach is probably the least expensive designer brand, and doesn’t even deserve to be considered luxury. they’re undesirable to me because EVERYONE has one. reed krakoff, the head designer, actually has expanded the coach empire in the past couple of years by using exotic skins and more avant-garde designs for a more high-end genre. so i applaud him for that, but grimace everytime i see a pre-teen flaunting a $300 logo-splashed hobo. i’ll stick with chloe and balenciaga.

  14. daryavaush Says:

    It’s a fad.

I prefer a handbag that’s functional, I’d never buy one just for the designer name.

  15. L.M.L Says:

Not me…I’m into Dooney and Burke. Every high fashion purse has it’s 15 minutes of fame. For a while it was Louis Vitton and now it’s Coach. Next it will be DB, channel, etc.

  16. eebuythiscomputer Says:

the trend is coming slowly but surely, 25% of the market in US

  17. Kelly J Says:

Because they look good. You can get your very own designer bag from . Gucci, Ferragamo, Prada, Or Dolce Gabbana , choose any one of those and you will recieve them for free. All you have to do is fill out the survey. My sister got her bag from that site and all she had to do was choose the bag she wanted and enter in her email address.
