I completely agree with you…there is NO need for someone to carry around a $1300 handbag! Unless they just want to let everyone know :Hey, check it out, I can afford THIS!
absolutly not there are kids out there starving and homeless and if i ghad thirteen hundred tospend on a purse then i would just dontate the money to charity those who open their habd to give will recieve as well
no, only dumb people do that…they’re only paying for the brand name. i totally agree with you, people just buy name brand things to show off regardless of whether the product is cute or not.
I think that people should purchase what they like, if they can afford it. I myself don’t care for any of the Gucci styles that I’ve seen nor would I be able to afford one. However, if I could afford something in this price range (actually, a little more than $1,300.00), I would get a Chloe. There’s quite a few that I like but simply can’t justify spending the equivalence of my monthly mortgage on a hand bag. Oh, and Chloe bags don’t have their name plastered all over them but they are absolutely beautiful.
hell no, just get a replica looks almost the same ain’t nobody gonna be asking and instigating lol, you could get it for 30 bucks. you are gonna regret it cause what if someone steels it
I just hate such bagzzzz…I have two Guccis but none of them are like that…I believe that the GUCCI screaming all over your bag is for cheap people who are wanting to tell the world they are rich…and have low self esteem. I also have low priced bags from target…I believe if I find something creative, I buy it.
I would get it for someone if I had the money. I work at Burberry and people buy expensive handbags all the time. Some people may buy it, not because they are superficial, but because they like it. I like the Burberry print, so I bought a Burberry wallet, am I superficial, I liked the way it looked, I bought it simple as that.
lol $1300???? thats… about 2 months worth of my car payments and car insurance not including gas!!!!!!!!…. i wouldnt pay $100 for a pair of shoes, or jeans or a shirt, why would i spent all that money on a purse that will end up being unfasionable in a couple months?
You are so right.I know people who buy $1000 purses,$900 glasses, and $250 jeans. They are always the most shallow superficial people. I think its like hey I’m really rich please like me and admire me.Its kind of sad really.
Maybe they just like it? I mean if it’s their money and they work for it they can spend it on whatever the heck they want. Who are we to judge? I think that’s what’s sad.
yea.. but if it is cute it is cute.. but if it ugly like omg u spent all that money for that ugly purse.. i would never buy a purse that is 1000 dollars
Girl, buy yourself a plane ticket to NYC, go to China Town,(downtown), buy a fake Gucci bag for a $ 50 dol (looks just like the one in Gucci strore), go visit, Grand Zero, Statue of Liberty Rockefeller Center, hit the hottest NYC clubs (Exit, APT, Bungalo 8, pick a guy, have crazy night and then go home. THAT- trip will be worth $1300 , even though you probably will spend only $600, better yet, invite a friend to go with you.
hell no i’d fucking take that $1300 and put it to good use rather then buy an ugly handbag that you won’t use next year. I hate when people spend ridiculous amounts of money on things that are going to go out of style in two weeks when there’s people starving to death, dying of aids, have no health insurance, are homeless, are trying to support a family while working multiple jobs, and are living pay check to pay check. People are so irresponsible with their money. If you want to spend your money but get something at the same time buy (red)clothing or something.
Geez, I spent $32 on my last bag, and that was on sale from $65. And I thought that was a lot to spend. But $1,300? Not me. Not even $100! I could do so many other things with that money that I feel would be more worthwhile. But, thats just me.
if they have xtra money and would like that gicci bag.. then fine . but it wouldnt be necceasay if someone just bought it because its designers, gucci!
On my retirement i plan to build a nice home with a swimming pool , if i were to spend that kind of money helping to make these high class designers rich and have what i’m struggling for……NO WAY !besides a good $30 leather bag is just as useful with the ones i design and make myself. As far as i’m concerned it’s for people like the HIltons who can pay less taxes and do tax write offs.

July 18th, 2009 at 10:46 am

:]

Heck no i wouldn’t spend that much on a hand bag. There are better ways to spend that money.

1300 $ would feed 150,000 children for 1 week here. Sometimes it pains me to read such extavagant waste.
July 29th, 2009 at 6:40 am
Nope i wouldn’t, is a waste of money, even if i was mad rich plus those handbags are not very good looking to me specially the all over print
