The primary reason is the marketing. They spend so much on marketing and advertising to maintain the brand that it ends up in the pricing of the product. The materials, etc. really do not matter that much as they make about 90% of what you paid as profit.

Why did you pay that much for yours? Same reason why they are so expensive. Another reason could be celebrities promote LV as well. They wearing made people wanting to buy it. Since LV are expensive it makes many people wanting it more and more. I think it’s more of a psychological reason. And last but not least of course the quality of LV speaks for itself.

So expensive because your actually paying for the brand, the name not for the materials or the actual bag..If your a fashion victim and can afford it,you’ll buy it,but i imagine your not Paris Hilton so better buy it from chinese people.I am leaving to China at the end of October,anybody want something ? :PP

Because people are willing to pay the price. If EVERYONEthey would never again pay more then $300. for a handbag …the prices of all over- priced handbags would drop llike a stone.

Because the know there people that would actually pay that much for them. Why would you do that? I’d boycott them, even if I had that much money to waste on a ‘designer’ thing. Fashions like that, that charge an arm and a leg are made for people that have too much money for their own good.
